KD Avia stops its work

KD Avia, the resident of International Airport in Khrabrovo, Kaliningrad region, officially stops rendering transport services from the 14th of September onwards.

However, already now it's completely impossible as to buy ticket so to fly with them. Bankruptcy is to be initiated soon. That's a pity for all of Kaliningrad citizens and our guests, but it does not mean flying via Moscow or St. Petersburg everytime you want to go to Kaliningrad. There is a good opportunity to reach Kaliningrad using overnight train from Berlin or taking any regular bus from Germany, Poland and Lithuania. AirBaltic operates everyday flights from RIga to Kaliningrad and back. Also, Gdansk airport in Poland offers many cheap flights from&to many cities in the world and there are only about 170 km between Gdansk and Kaliningrad that you can rapidly cover by train, bus or taxi.
And surely, do not forget to consider opportunity to come to us driving your car.
In the meantime, rumours are about new company, that will be operating "hub-and-spoke" system flights in Kaliningrad very soon, instead of KDAvia. We believe that air transport system here will become normal again in closer future.
