The train Berlin-Kaliningrad is cancelled
Trains will stop running starting from the 10th of December. How and when the connection will be reinstated? The question remains open yet.
Sure, there are no doubts among Kaliningrad citizens about necessity and importance of train connection with Berlin. Let’s hope that the train will be returned as soon as it will be possible.

In fact, already today you can not buy a train ticket – ticket offices at South Railway Station in Kaliningrad are not selling the tickets to Berlin anymore. The reason, how it was stated by the Kaliningrad Railways, is that Polish Railways have cancelled the train Berlin – Warsaw, in the meantime, whereas the train Berlin – Kaliningrad was, in fact, only a couple of cabs dragging behind the Warsaw train.

Now the Railways are trying to arrange another route to reinstate the connection.
