Visa agreement Russia-India |
Russia and India have concluded the agreement, that is going to make visa formalities significantly less complicated for each other.
The overall conditions are very much similar to those of the visa agreement between Russian and European Union (Shengen zone countries). Since the 19th of October 2011, it is enough to have the letter from the educational instution to get a student visa, and there is no need to wait for a month before the Migration Service comes up with an official invitation. This letter from a school or a university is absolutely enough to serve as an evidence of the purpose of trip.
